Well, during high school for me, our school always had moronic internet restrictions. Even Microsoft Enacrta Online (an online encyclopedia) was blocked.
Upon confronting my computer teacher about this the response was that he couldn't do anyhting about it (AKA he was a complete idiot).
So I decided to get around it. It became somewhat of a hobby, trying out different ways. I almost got caught a few times, but luckily i'm a good talker.
Which reminds me a handy thing to learn is all about people who might catch you, and get comfortable with talking your way out of things. Network admins tend to not like it when the find out that you hacked through their porn blocker.
Anyway, as I got better at defeating internet censorship, I decided i would take all my knowledge and make it into a 'hack' for www.i-hacked.com. I quickly found that it was way too large to use as a hack, there was just too much information.
At which point I ran into CodedChaos, who hosted me online.
And here we are :).
